PROBLEM

The imbalance in education is quite prominent

Baiyun District is located in the northern part of Guangzhou's urban area, where the urban-rural dual structure is pronounced and the imbalance in education is quite prominent. It has the largest number of schools, teachers and students among all districts in the city, making it a major district for basic education in Guangzhou.

MEASURES

Innovative Application Cases of Generative Artificial Intelligence Technology

(1)The number of pilot smart campus schools in the district has reached 160, along with 10 bases of the Smart Education Application Alliance.

(2)The "Three Classrooms" Application Platform in Baiyun District addresses the long-standing issues of insufficient teaching resources and subpar course provision in underperforming rural schools through the "Five Synchronizations"—synchronized live classes, synchronized recorded lessons, synchronized learning, synchronized teaching research, and synchronized assessment.

(3)The innovative digital classroom model of "Xiaole Miaoyue – AI Digital Classroom" enables data analysis and processing (grading), generates real-time class learning status, and empowers teachers' teaching and students' learning.

(4)Baiyun District empowers teaching through the application of AIGC (Generative Artificial Intelligence) in academic disciplines. By leveraging AIGC tools such as "Kimi", "Doubao" and "iFlytek Spark", along with intelligent physical fitness applications, it has developed a number of innovative application cases of generative artificial intelligence technology, helping to improve the quality and efficiency of education.

EFFECTS

A total of 4,964 teachers and 105 schools across the district have joined the platform

(1)A total of 4,964 teachers and 105 schools across the district have joined the platform, uploading and releasing 1,731 high-quality course resources, with the number of viewers reaching 2.689 million. The regular application and practice of the Three Classrooms have enabled teachers from urban and rural areas to conduct synchronized lesson planning, teaching and teaching research, providing a development platform for underperforming schools and directly driving the rapid professional growth of rural teachers.

(2)The integration of "AI + Precision Teaching", "AI + Teaching Evaluation" and "AI + In-depth Multi-platform Application" empowers the reform of the education system and helps enhance teachers' instructional skills.
